Welcome to the first annual WET Awards show. (White Entertainment Television)  Please, I’m going to try and be respectful here.  So don’t take offense.

BUT What IF BET (Black Entertainment Television) Awards was the WET (White Entertainment Television) Awards and what IF you heard the following quotes:

“If we all register and vote, we will have the first white 71 year old president in the history of America. ”

“McCain or Die … ”

“Together we can do anything,” ”McCain y’all!” ….

“For the 56th time in history, we have the opportunity to elect somebody that is once again in the good ol’ boy network.” yeehaw

Who thinks this sounds like racism ?  Do you think the NAACP would be hopping mad ?  Do you think Al Sharpton and Jessuah Jackson would be trying to bring down the WET Awards ?

Well surprise there isn’t any White entertainment Television Awards show and the quotes I just listed weren’t said….or were they ?

Welcome to this years Black Entertainment Television Awards. 

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Barack Obama didn’t attend the BET Awards, but that didn’t stop attendees from talking about him.

Diddy:
“If we all register and vote, we will have the first black president in the history of America,”Sean “Diddy” Combs told the crowd Tuesday at the Shrine Auditorium before chanting “Obama or Die” - a declarative remix of his neutral “Vote or Die” motto from the 2004 presidential election, when he attempted to boost the youth vote.

Keys:
“Together we can do anything,” she said, playing on the Democrat’s “Yes We Can” mantra before shouting: “Obama y’all!”

Banner:
“For the first time in history, we have the opportunity for somebody who’s not in the good ol’ boy network to get into office,” rapper David Banner told reporters backstage. “People talk about his lack of experience, but there’s people with much more experience who haven’t done such a good job.”

So what’s to be made of these statements ?  Is this diversity at work ?  Another fine example of the lefts model of diversity is on Barack Obama’s own web site. I write about it here:
