This Kanjorski center is costing the city $15,000 per month.  Even though it’s been empty for 3 years according to Kanjorski, it was free to the people of Nanticoke and people shouldn’t complain about free money.

This guy is not only out of touch with his constituents but with reality as well.

Ok, so I guess everyone has one of these moments in their lives, so let me tell you about my latest Chris Farley show moment.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, let me refer you to the following script:

OK SO MAYBE IT WASN’T THAT BAD but I met Mayor Lou tonight at the Saint Jude’s Church Picnic in Mountain Top, PA.  He was there walking around and shaking hands. Enter Chris Farley… Of all the things I could have said, perhaps a picture since I had a camera, I was kinda drawing a blank.  I gave him the “So nice to meet you, I hope everything works out, mumbled something about the blog and wrapped it up with, I came over to ask you if you would autograph my daughters head.”

Honestly… what in the hell was I thinking ?!?!  Thank god Mayor Lou seems to have a good sense of humor !  After a quick chuckle I ran back to my friends table with a Lou for Congress sticker.

If anyone caught Kevin Lynn’s mindless rant yesterday on WILK he insinuated that Lou Barletta was in someway was responsible for the recent beating death of an illegal imigrant in the town of Shenandoah.  It’s Lou’s fault that this guy was killed, because he was the one that “put the brown people on one side of the street and the white people on the other”.  Can you say @!#$@!#$ !!!  Lou Barletta ‘08 !!!

HAZLETON - Mayor Lou Barletta, known for his local crackdown on illegal immigration, has been named Mayor of the Year by his peers in the Pennsylvania State Mayors Association.

“It’s an honor I’ll remember the rest of my life because of who the award was given to me by,” Barletta said on Sunday. “Being honored by your peers is really a great honor.”

Lititz Mayor Russell Pettyjohn, chairman of the association’s six-member Mayor of the Year committee, described Barletta as a “hands-on mayor,” who was present at crime scenes and fires.

I think we have a new Slick Willie on hand.  According to Kanjo there is a very large effort by Conservative Republican Publications, media and the Republican National committee to take facts, distort the truth and make him look bad. Nooo…  Like he’s so unfamiliar with launching smear campaigns. After Listening to this interview, it sounds like Paul had a lot of time and coaching to weasel his ways though Steve Corbett’s softball questions.  The part that was frustrating was Steve would bring up the issue and then not press him.  Like a Wolf Blitzer interview. zzzzzz

With respect to the Youtube video where it shows somebody shoving the carmera, he said the Camera was 6″ away from his face, the guy was doing some kind of rolling chant and he was in his pajamas. How was a crazy lunatic able to get so close to the congressman, then he hung around to argue with the guy ? He also doesn’t know if anyone touched the camera,  what ???  I would say he was highly agitated and right at the end put his hand on the camera.  Did he not see the video 1000 times before he did this interview ? Here it is again if you missed it…

His explanation on Cornerstone was short and full of fluff, claiming that everyone was for the project and no one made any money.  Regardless of what transpired politicians getting jobs and money for the reletives NEVER has the appearance of something that is ethical.

The best part of the interview was when Steve Corbett at the end managed to whine to Kanjorski about supporting Obama. He’s such a PUMA.

Russell Kanjorski, the nephew of U.S. Rep. Paul E. Kanjorski, D-Nanticoke, is the strategic planning director for AVA Solar Inc. The Fort Collins, Colo.,-based company has secured a $3 million federal grant and promises to employ up to 500 people next year.

Just a bit about Derek Kichline…

Late on the night of May 10th, 2006, a 29-year-old Hazleton City resident, Derek Kichline was standing near his truck a few blocks from the heart of Downtown Hazleton when he was accosted by two men. These men approached him and shot him directly in the face from about a foot away. Kichline fell to the pavement and died.

Shot in the face from a foot away.  DEAD.
Here’s the kicker…Pedro Cabrera and Joan Romero walked on lack of evidence.
They have since been deported back to Dominican Republic.
The reason for the lack of evidence ? Another Illegal alien , since deported, changed their story.

Hopefully someday Derek Kichline will get his due justice.
