NEPAConservative has graciously given me the ability to add new posts to NepaLibwatch so for my first ever entry I thought I would provide what I believe to be a very revealing difference in the two candidates.
It has been written by Nobel Laureate Milton Friedman that “Economists often do disagree, but that has not been true with respect to free trade and international trade. Ever since Adam Smith there has been virtual unanimity among economists, whatever their ideological position on other issues, that international free trade is in the best interests of trading countries and of the world.”
The graphs below track the career votes of both candidates and their record with respect to free trade.

As can been seen above John McCain has been a strong supporter of free trade and Barack Obama has not. In fact they are near polar opposites. John McCain has been one of the strongest supporters of free trade in the entire House or Senate while Obama has been the exact opposite.
