The best fireworks show in the world !

July 6th, 2008 · 7 Comments

I just spent the weekend 1 mile away from arguably the best fireworks display in NEPA.  However being a “local” and not wanting to deal with the out of state tourists we went to get our own.  So it was off to the  sate sanctioned LEGAL fireworks tent. That’s right, we dropped 50 big ones at the tent.  I know that’s not much, but it would be something the kiddies would enjoy.

Fast forward 5 hours.  It’s time !!!  Oh the excitement, the joy, the pure bliss of lighting that punk and touching it against the fuse of the firework…Aughh the smell of Potassium perchlorate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate and just a touch of Dextrin….mmmmmmm.

Happy Happy Happy, Joy Joy Joy !

Half way through one thing occurred to me, yes the kiddies were having fun, but these fireworks were lacking something. Oh what was it they were lacking ??? Oh yes, about 50 pounds of BOOM !!!

Lets be honest, at one time or another everyone had a real firework in their possession, these tent fire works are sleepers.  The best part is they all end up doing the same exact thing.  Snap crackle and pop.  I need an M80,  I need a cake, an artillery shell…something, anything !!!  But no, you see the sad reality is our liberal PA government has done their best to protect us from ourselves again.  NO FIREWORKS FOR YOU !

So I ask the question, aren’t we sick of sneaking around to buy REAL fireworks ?  Should you feel like a criminals trying to properly celebrate the countries independence ?  Did you ever wonder why the great Democrat governing body in PA made it so that, out of state residence can buy fire works IN PA but PA residence can’t ?

Would they rather us celebrate like the Anti-American liberal mimes down at state college ?
In 2004, state lawmakers changed the law to allow retailers to sell banned items to out-of-state residents. Cough, cough, bullshit, cough ehhhemmmm.   Excuse me.  “Pennsylvania residents can buy and possess only fireworks that stay on the ground and sparkle.”  Oh yippeee, thanks State law makers, you are so smart and all knowing. Lousy Democrats !!!

Did you know…it’s against the law to bring back banned fireworks from other states ? Even though those same products are sold down at the corner store to somebody from a different state.  Does anyone see a problem here ???

Anyway, I hope everyone had a Great 4th of July celebration, smoke bombs, sparklers and all.  Below are some links that go into PA law a bit more than I care to write about.

Welcome to Luzerne County, bend over please.

June 5th, 2008 · No Comments

Where have I been for the Last year ?!?!  Luzerne County Reassessments what ?  Is this Ed Rendell’s idea of lowering property taxes ?  I am waiting for my reassessment to show up but from what I’ve been hearing from my neighbors say theirs has increased by roughly $2,000.  I was JUST assessed 3 years ago but I guess since OTHER PEOPLE didn’t have their properties assessed for the last 40 years this is now MY PROBLEM.  Keep electing the same insane Democrats and this is what we get.  Gas is hovering around $4 with a total tax of $.51 per gallon , job outlook for this area has been the same it has been for the last 50 years…SUCK and now…hey what’s a 50% property tax increase thrown on top of that ?

This is why I am recommending buying stock in all personal lubricants. (Astroglide, Anal Ease, K-Y, etc.)

Hurry somebody call the Whaaaambulance !!!

April 18th, 2008 · No Comments

And now we know why the Democrats didn’t do a debate on FOX.
Can you imagine, Hillary and Barack had to answer some real questions
about their character.  As we all know Liberals don’t think character
should play a role in the selection of the best person for the job.

Hurry somebody call the Whaaaambulance.

Quick somebody get Ed Rendell some cheese to go with that whine.

Rendell: Congratulates FOX for doing “the fairest job”….

April 8th, 2008 · No Comments

In a NOT SO INTERESTING article from TIME Ed Rendell has been
making some very interesting statements.
http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1727469,00.html

Here is the best snip from the article:

Rendell, 64, is a ferocious advocate for Clinton, and he doesn’t hesitate to complain about the raw deal he says she has gotten from the media. In a recent appearance on Fox News—not exactly considered friendly territory for the Democrats—he congratulated the network for having done “the fairest job [and] remained the most objective of all the cable networks.”In an interview with me, the governor was again in media-critic mode. “It took Saturday Night Liveto bring some fairness to this election,” Rendell said, referring to the show’s now famous skit lampooning the media’s crush on Obama. “It’s stunning. Does Keith Olbermann get checks from the Obama campaign?”

Ok ok ok…. take deep breaths people, breath…

1. DID HE SAY THAT FOX NEWS HAS DONE THE FAIREST JOB AND MOST OBJECTIVE JOB
IN ALL OF THE ELECTION COVERAGE ?

A Democrat finally admits the fair and balanced approach of FOX NEWS is for real !!!
Can you see the rift starting to develop with the Leftist MSM ?

2. Keith Olbershat….Does he still have that little show over on MSNBC ?
If he thinks Olbershat is on the lefts payroll, perhaps he hasn’t seen
Chris Mathews.  Can you say….Biased reporting ?

These statements come on the heels of comments about Lynn Swanns Race,
how white PA conservatives wont vote for a black and we also have a
problem seeing a woman run the White house.

It’s been a strange season for our Governor…
So much material and so little time !

Rendell: ‘The Media Does Not Like the Clintons’

February 26th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Quick somebody call the Whaaabulance !!!

Rendell: ‘The Media Does Not Like the Clintons’
It’s a RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY I tell ya!

More foolishness from Ed Rendell on the heals of his “Pa voters
don’t like blacks and/or females” rants.  Now Eddie says
“The Media does not like the Clintons ???”  First of all, who
does like the Clintons these days ?

Is this a sign of desperation ?  Is Eddie worried about his potential
VP dreams getting flushed down into the sewers along with the Clinton
legacy ?

The best part is, we may get to see how much the Media doesn’t
like the Clintons if Hillary gets a chance to run off against McCain.
At best it’s temporary in the event of an Obama defeat.

Rendell: A Woman running the White house ?!?!

February 20th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I’m really starting to wonder if somebody should be giving
Ed Rendell advice on keeping his mouth shut.

Yes folks, his latest comment is more outrageous than
the last.  Last week us Conservatives wouldn’t vote for a
black, now this week Democrats may have a problem
with seeing a woman in the White house.  Nice…

They always say give a Liberal enough rope and eventually
they’ll have enough to hang themselves with. Eddy boy is a swinging !
http://campaignspot.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NGQ1MGYwNjA4NmQwYjhkM2Q4ZTZhYTAxYjMzMDdhOTQ=

As Kid Shelleen a “freeper” put it: Well, we know most of the voters
there (in Pennsylvania) aren’t prejudiced against corrupt, lying imbeciles,
or Fast Eddie wouldn’t be governor.

That’s correct !!!

Here is the quote:

“Senator Clinton has the same handicap,” said Rendell, who has
endorsed the former first lady. “There are some men who have said,
‘Look I have nothing against Senator Clinton but I don’t want to see
a woman … in charge of the United States military as commander in chief.’”

“We’re talking about a very small percentage of voters, but some of these
primaries are decided by a very small percentage of voters.”

um….I have nothing else to say.

Rendell: Race Factor Could Hurt Obama

February 12th, 2008 · No Comments

The below article is unbelievable !
We’re not ready for blacks up here in the South..I mean the North.
There is NO WAY I can vote for a Black candidate.

Unless of course it’s Condoleezza Rice, Alan Keys, Rev Jessie Lee Peterson
or Lynn Swann. But wait, I’m a white conservative I wouldn’t vote for a
black, right Ed Rendell ?

Stay tuned for our next episode:

THE POLITICS OF FEAR, DIVISION, AND HATRED!

———————————————

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Gov. Ed Rendell, one of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s most visible supporters, said some white Pennsylvanians are likely to vote against her rival Barack Obama because he is black.
“You’ve got conservative whites here, and I think there are some whites who are probably not ready to vote for an African-American candidate,” Rendell told the editorial board of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in remarks that appeared in Tuesday’s paper. To buttress his point, Rendell cited his 2006 re-election campaign, in which he defeated Republican challenger Lynn Swann, the former Pittsburgh Steelers star, by a margin of more than 60 percent to less than 40 percent.

“I believe, looking at the returns in my election, that had Lynn Swann been the identical candidate that he was — well-spoken, charismatic, good-looking — but white instead of black, instead of winning by 22 points, I would have won by 17 or so,” he said. “And that (attitude) exists. But on the other hand, that is counterbalanced by Obama’s ability to bring new voters into the electoral pool.”

Rendell, chairman of the Democratic National Committee in 2000 and previously Philadelphia’s mayor, endorsed Clinton on Jan. 23.

Pennsylvania holds its primary April 22.

Several figures in Clinton’s campaign, including her husband, the former president, have been criticized in recent weeks for raising Obama’s race. In response, Bill Clinton has said he will stick to promoting his wife, rather than defending her.

Later Tuesday, Rendell’s spokesman said the governor did not mean to offend anyone.

“He was simply making an observation about the unfortunate nature of some parts of American society,” said spokesman Chuck Ardo. “He wasn’t being critical, he wasn’t making accusations, but just being realistic.”

Rendell’s plan to stimulate with a Rainy Day.

February 5th, 2008 · No Comments

Although the title implies money set aside for
a “rainy day”, today Ed Rendell is defining
what a rainy day is and how the money can be used.
Yeah That’s right, Lame duck Eddie plans to give away
taxpayer money to people who don’t pay taxes.

He’s calling it a “Rebate”.

Rebate, rebate, did you say rebate ?!?!
(said like Jim Mora’s… playoffs pl pl playoffs ?!?!)

Dictionary.com defines a “Rebate” as:
–noun
1. a return of part of the original payment for some service
or merchandise; partial refund.
–verb (used with object)
2. to allow as a discount.
3. to deduct (a certain amount), as from a total.
4. to return (part of an original payment):
He rebated five dollars to me.

Where does it say to give money away for free ?
THIS IS NOT A REBATE.THIS IS CALLED “REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH”.

Yes can call it welfare, pogey or securing votes from
the largest voter pool of the democratic party,
but for the love of god don’t call it a rebate !

As JG Wentworth says: “It’s my money and I need it now !”

Add this to you vocabulary Liberals: Tax rate reductions.

The only thing this will stimulate is State owned liquor store sales.oh oh….I like Tequila !

Rendell suggestion: Give lower income families state tax rebates. by Steve Biddle

WPSU-PRCN (2008-02-05) Governor Ed Rendell is proposing that the state tap into its emergency “Rainy Day” fund in order to offer one-time payments of $400 to some 475,000 lower income Pennsylvania families.

The governor says under the plan, those families earning less than $32,000 a year would receive the rebate this spring.

“We need to make sure that our hardest-working, lowest-paid families have the wherewithal to weather this recession,” Rendell told reporters at a Monday news conference, “They’re the ones who increased fuel costs, increased gas costs, increased home heating costs, all of the increased costs hit the hardest.”

The governor further explained, “It is our intention to borrow $130 million, the cost of this one-time rebate, from the rainy day fund, and we would pay that rainy day fund back with the surplus at the end of the year.”

Rendell is pushing the General Assembly to move quickly on his proposal, saying, “We can identify these individuals in eight weeks because they are in our Tax Back program, and I am asking the Legislature to pass this part, and many parts of this stimulus right now, not in the budget itself.”

Rendell is to deliver his annual budget address to the General Assembly on Tuesday.

The rebate program is part of a larger stimulus program, which also would include money to stimulate business development and create jobs.

Rendell-Clinton 2008

January 27th, 2008 · No Comments

Rendell-Clinton 2008
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, the former Democratic National Committee chair during the Bush-Gore Florida recount in 2000, will throw his political weight behind Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton today.

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/blogs/primarycolors/index.php?archive=January%202008

What kind of deal do you suppose they made for his endorsement of Hillary ?
Maybe she has a better plan to lower our property taxes, since his failed.

Listen to Fast Eddie as he defends lil’ ol’ Hillary.
