I think we have a new Slick Willie on hand.  According to Kanjo there is a very large effort by Conservative Republican Publications, media and the Republican National committee to take facts, distort the truth and make him look bad. Nooo…  Like he’s so unfamiliar with launching smear campaigns. After Listening to this interview, it sounds like Paul had a lot of time and coaching to weasel his ways though Steve Corbett’s softball questions.  The part that was frustrating was Steve would bring up the issue and then not press him.  Like a Wolf Blitzer interview. zzzzzz

With respect to the Youtube video where it shows somebody shoving the carmera, he said the Camera was 6″ away from his face, the guy was doing some kind of rolling chant and he was in his pajamas. How was a crazy lunatic able to get so close to the congressman, then he hung around to argue with the guy ? He also doesn’t know if anyone touched the camera,  what ???  I would say he was highly agitated and right at the end put his hand on the camera.  Did he not see the video 1000 times before he did this interview ? Here it is again if you missed it…

His explanation on Cornerstone was short and full of fluff, claiming that everyone was for the project and no one made any money.  Regardless of what transpired politicians getting jobs and money for the reletives NEVER has the appearance of something that is ethical.

The best part of the interview was when Steve Corbett at the end managed to whine to Kanjorski about supporting Obama. He’s such a PUMA.

The LEFT COAST is leading the charge for the new and coming “GREEN” industry. California is now making it mandatory for cars to be labeled with global warming scores.  If they would just put out their fires and manage their forests, the rest of us wouldn’t have to suffer the effects of stupidity.

I wonder what criteria they will use to rate these cars.

Cigarette Lighter: -1 Algores
Air Conditioner: -5 Algores
Gas Combustion Engine: -10 Algores
Biodegradable seats made from Hemp: +7 Algores
Radio that only tunes in to AirAmerica: +3 Algores

Soon dealers will be selling this to us as a feature and insurance companies will be giving us Global Warming discounts.  All of this based on the same junk science that got DDT banned. But wait we have no time to loose !!! Temperature has increased 1.33° F.  Living in NEPA according to my calculations temperature has decreased by 2 stiff nipples in the last year.

New York is expected to add these Global Warming scores to their vehicals by 2010. Soon the rest of us will have to swallow this BS and be forced to pay extra for an Eco-friendly roadsters.

Global warming scores will be included on California’s DriveClean website.

Here is some information on the progress being made at Toyota with Hydrogen Fuel cell vehicles…welcome to the second generation hybrid.  In a few years who wants to open up a hydrogen recharging station. 

We can sell Beer and Hydrogen !!!

The AP reported that “Toyota has developed a new fuel cell hybrid, a green car powered by hydrogen and electricity, that can travel more than twice the distance of its predecessor model without filling up, the automaker said Friday.” In a statement Toyota said that “[t]he improved model’s maximum cruising range is 516 miles compared with 205 miles for Toyota’s previous fuel cell model.” The AP noted, “The FCHV-adv model, which received Japanese government approval Tuesday, will be available for leasing in Japan later this year.” Toyota Motor Corp. spokeswoman Kayo Doi added that “[p]ricing and other details weren’t available, and overseas plans were still undecided.”

The AFP added that the “new zero-emission fuel-cell vehicle…can operate in freezing temperatures.” Japanese automakers “have been working to create a viable zero-emission car running on fuel cells, which produce electricity through a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen, leaving water as the only by-product.” Toyota engineers succeeded in controlling “the amount of water produced inside the fuel-cell system, which previously interfered with electrical generation at low temperatures.”
